Tell the U.S. and Canadian governments to protect the caribou and the Boreal forest

The caribou – the same species as the reindeer – is under threat. Millions of caribou have disappeared across the north over the past twenty years.

The caribou's sensitive ecosystem is threatened by logging and fossil fuel companies. The population of Boreal woodland caribou – whose health reflects the health of the forest itself – is listed as Threatened under the Canadian Species at Risk Act and is declining rapidly.

Sign here to get U.S. and Canadian government officials to work with Indigenous Peoples and stop the destruction of the boreal forest from oil and gas and logging interests.
